Notice of Proposal to Grant a Lease of Community Land (Balmoral Bathers’ Pavilion)

Consultation has concluded
The current 21 year lease of the Balmoral Bathers’ Pavilion expires on 31 December 2019. Council is proposing to grant a further 20 years commencing 1 January 2020 and expiring on 31 December 2039 for the purpose the same as existing purposes, being refreshment rooms and associated facilities (specifically a restaurant/café/kiosk and public gallery). As the premises are located within community classified land under the Local Government Act 1993, Council is required to publicly exhibit the proposal and receive submissions. The proposed lease is currently subject to a public tender process.
It is proposed that the outcome of the public tender process and the public exhibition of the proposed 20 year lease of community land will be reported to and determined by Council at its meeting on 2 April 2019.

Any submissions concerning the proposal should be in writing and addressed to the General Manager, Mosman Municipal Council, PO Box 211, Spit Junction NSW 2088, or alternatively forwarded by email to council@mosman.nsw.gov.au or via the form below.
