Balmoral Oval (Former Pippies Childcare Site) Restoration
Consultation has concluded
Council is seeking community input on four options for the future use of a former childcare site at Balmoral Oval.
In September 2019, Council considered a report titled Balmoral Oval Restoration Options and resolved that Council:
1. Demolishes the Council structure immediately and plants turf to take advantage of the Spring season
2. Staff put the options 1-4 to Community Consultation and that the consultation will be by a voting webpage with graphics and include preferential voting
Accordingly, the following restoration options for the former Pippies Childcare site at Balmoral Oval are being presented for community consultation and preferential voting:
- Option 1 - Grassed/Natural Area
- Option 2a - Multi-Purpose Full Sized Court
- Option 2b - Multi-Purpose Practice Court
- Option 3 - BBQ With Shelters
- Option 4 - Community Garden
