What is a Plan of Management

A Plan of Management is an overarching document that guides the use and management of community land. It outlines what the community values about the place, its current and future uses and how it will be managed, maintained and improved in future.

Why does this land need a new Plan of Management?

The Local Government Act 1993 and Crown Land Management Act 2016 mandate that a Plan of Management must be prepared for all community land.

Following the introduction of the Crown Land Management Act 2016, the existing Clifton Gardens Reserve Plan of Management no longer meets legislative requirements for plans of management. To ensure compliance with statutory requirements and to respond to Mosman's changing recreational needs, Council has prepared the draft Clifton Gardens Reserve Plan of Management.

The study area for the draft Clifton Gardens Reserve Plan of Management Plan of Management consists of a combination of Crown land which is managed by Council and Council owned community land at Clifton Gardens.
