Community Grants and Assistance Policy

Council’s Community Grants and Assistance Policy has been reviewed and is on public exhibition.

The review recommends increasing the total Community Grants budget to $90,000, and raising the maximum grant allocation to $5,000 per applicant. These adjustments will allow organisations to deliver more substantial community outcomes while maintaining broad access to funding, with Council likely able to fund an increased number of applicants.

At its meeting on 2 December 2025, Council approved the policy for exhibition. The document can be viewed on this page.

The public exhibition period closes on 16 January 2026.
