Consultation has concluded
Council has resolved to exhibit a draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2021-2025 in accordance with the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014. The Plan sets out Council’s proposed actions to support the inclusion of people with disability. It builds on Council’s previous Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2017 - 2021.
The draft Plan covers four main areas:
Developing positive community attitudes and behaviours
Creating liveable communities
Supporting access to meaningful employment
Improving access to mainstream services through better systems and processes.
The draft Disability Inclusion and Action Plan is on public exhibition until Wednesday 17 November 2021.
