The Draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2026–2030 was endorsed by Council at its May 2026 meeting for public exhibition for a period of 28 days.
The draft Plan recognises the significant progress achieved through Council’s previous DIAP and seeks to build on this work through a stronger focus on measurable outcomes, clearer accountability, streamlined actions and improved governance. The revised Plan places greater emphasis on delivering practical improvements across infrastructure, services, communication and employment, while aligning with accessibility standards and community expectations.
Council is committed to creating a more inclusive and accessible community and welcomes feedback from residents, community members and local organisations.
We invite you to review the draft Plan and provide your comments and suggestions during the exhibition period. Your feedback will help inform the final Disability Inclusion Action Plan 2026–2030.
