Draft Section 94A Development Contributions Plan 2016

Consultation has concluded
Council has resolved to exhibit a draft Section 94A Development Contributions Plan 2016 to replace the current Section 94A Development Contributions Plan 2012. Section 94A Contributions are payments made by persons undertaking development work to help fund the provision of public facilities.
The draft S.94A Plan maintains the same level of contributions as the previous Plan, that is:
Estimated cost of works
Contribution
Less than $100,000
Nil
$100,000 - $200,000
0.5% of the value of the work
Over $200,000
1% of the value of the work
The new S.94A Plan has been prepared to provide an updated schedule of projects that would be funded including:
Refurbishments and upgrades of the Allan Border Oval Pavilion and the Mosman Occasional Childcare Centre;
Playground upgrades at Hunter Park, Memorial Park and Memory Park;
Implementation of the Mosman Bicycle Plan and Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan;
Upgrades to the Mosman Swim Centre and Balmoral Baths; and
Upgrades to Middle Head Oval and construction of new pavilion.
The draft S.94A Plan is on public exhibition until Friday 21 October 2016.
