Memory Park Playground fencing
Consultation has concluded
Mosman Council is seeking community input on four options for playground fencing at Memory Park.
Council endeavors to provide a range of playgrounds with a variety of play experiences for children of all ages. Memory Park playground has been designed to integrate other active and passive uses in the park which contribute to a child’s play experience and cognitive development. It also maintains good access through the park for other park uses.
Playgrounds located in busy or restricted locations (i.e. near car parks, water or main roads) have been designed to include either partial or full fencing as a precaution. Currently over 50% of Mosman’s playgrounds are fully fenced with a further 15% with partial fencing, including Memory Park playground. More information is available on Council’s website - https://mosman.nsw.gov.au/recreation/playgrounds
