Council is seeking community feedback on a proposal to upgrade Mosman Square and Village Green. The current layout of Mosman Square and Village Green was constructed in 1988. It was a bold design at the time and there have been various additions and deletions over the years. It is a popular location due to its proximity to shops, transport, dining facilities, Council services, parking, green spaces and local events like the markets. The main objectives of the upgrade are:
Facilitate community events and outdoor dining
Improved connection and lighting
Improved accessiblity
Consistent materials
Suitable for all age groups
Water sensitive urban design and environmentally friendly materials
Maintaining some of the positive features and history of the area
We will also be holding a number of on-line public workshops on Tuesday, 28 September 2021. If you would like to attend please register by contacting 02 9978 4116 or engineering@mosman.nsw.gov.au.
