Notice of proposal to grant a Lease of Community land at Harnett Park – Sydney Amateur Sailing Club

Mosman Council, as Crown Land Manager under the Crown Lands Management Act 2016, leases the portion of Harnett Park above the high-water mark that is occupied by part of the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club premises. The existing lease expired on 31 October 2025.

At its meeting of 5 December 2025, Council resolved to grant a renewal lease for a term of 10 years commencing 1 November 2025, subject to public exhibition of the proposal in accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993.

The remainder of the premises, located below the high-water mark, is covered by a separate licence agreement with Transport for NSW.

Submissions on the proposal close on 31 January 2026.
