Consultation has concluded
Please be advised that Council will be upgrading two popular playgrounds, Memory Park and Memorial Park (Allan Border Oval). Work will involve the upgrading of softfall areas, new play equipment and renewal of landscaping. It is anticipated that works will be completed in the second half of 2017.
As part of the initial planning stage Council is seeking community feedback and has released two separate surveys for the respective playgrounds. The survey provides guidance for Council to deliver play equipment and other playground features that will provide a practical playground for the community. For Memory Park the information will also provide information for the development of a concept design which will be subject to further community consultation.
The surveys will close on the 28 April 2017. Should you require further information you can contact Steve Wall, Team Leader Open Space and Biodiversity on 9978 4045.
