SPOFFORTH STREET AT THE CORNER OF BRIERLEY STREET - PROPOSAL TO IMPLEMENT 30 MINUTE PARKING

It has been brought to Council's attention that there is a need for short term parking in the vicinity of the shops in Spofforth Street. Council is currently investigating this matter.

There are two parking spaces on the eastern side of Spofforth Street (in front of the service station). These spaces are signposted "No Stopping, 7am-9am, Mon-Fri". The proposal is to install a "30min, 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri, 9am-12.30pm, Sat" parking restriction at this location. The proposal is shown on the attached plan.

Council is seeking feedback/comments on the proposal until 16 May 2023.
