Consultation has concluded

Council has developed concept designs for cycle and pedestrian improvements on Wyong Road. Wyong Road is a part of the North Sydney to Northern Beaches Regional Cycle Route which is a key part of the strategy to provide alternative active transport options to Military and Spit Road. It is also consistent with improving cycle and walking facilities for local residents.

The works will be undertaken on Wyong Road, from McPherson Street to Cowles Road and will include the following:

  • 49 new street trees
  • 16 pedestrian improvements (pram ramps and narrowing of crossings)
  • 400 metres of dedicated cycle route
  • 200 square metres of landscaping (garden beds and plants)
  • 9 car spaces lost
  • 2 bus stops consolidated to 1

We are currently seeking community input on the proposal. The concept plans are available for public comment and can be for downloaded on this page. Submissions must be received by Wednesday 22 April 2020 via the online survey below .
