Consultation has concluded
Council
is seeking the community’s views about on-street parking time limits in and
around the main commercial areas of Military Road and Spit Road.
Proposed
changes to parking time limits form part of the Mosman Parking Strategy, which
was developed after extensive community consultation in response to ongoing
parking and traffic flow issues in Mosman.
Council
formally adopted the strategy in April 2015, on the basis that the
community would be further consulted on any proposed changes to on-street
parking time restrictions.
The
strategy proposes different time restrictions, depending on how close the
on-street parking space is to Military Road and Spit Road. We’re considering:
Restricting parking on Military Road to
half an hour, seven days a week, from 8.30am to 6pm.
Introducing one or two-hour parking
restrictions in streets up to 300 metres from Military Road and Spit
Road,
between 8.30am and 6pm on weekdays and on Saturday mornings
Resident Parking Schemes in residential
streets, in conjunction with new or changed parking restrictions.
You’ll
find more information on this site about the proposed changes and the Mosman
Parking Strategy. Take the online survey below to tell us your views, or check
out the Frequently Asked Questions for details about other ways to have your
say.
Please
give us your comments by Friday 25 September 2015.
